As you know, I adored Heartwoods, having previously blogged about my blue bullhide flogger, my flat-braided flogger and cat o'nine. I've also previously discussed a pretty heavy-duty latigo flogger from A&G.
This post, I am going to review my blue latigo flogger from Heartwood whips. ![]()
Unfortunately for my blog, while I'm an awesome femdom, I'm a really crappy photographer.
The image to the left shows this flogger curled, and as you can see, the tails are actually black. The "blue" comes in the handle, which is braided together with black to make a beautiful presentation, which the image to the left doesn't highlight properly at all. The handle is more clearly seen in the image to the right (in which the tails are the wrong color!) The blue "peeks" out of the handle in a striking manner. I appreciate how gorgeous the whip looks, and the near-perfect balance when held in my hand. But bottoms care more about how it feels than how it looks. This is an "intermediate" whip. There's no way to say it doesn't hurt, it bloody well does. It's that same sharp stinging feeling you get from the typical belt, though with a bit of thud underlying the brutal sting. But it's not nearly as bad as my A&G latigo flogger. For those who don't find these quite enough to satisfy their masochism, I have a lovely tawse, which I'll blog about next time.
